A beautiful session in The Flats of Cleveland
The Location
Wedding photographers know that engagement sessions are critical. We use them to get to know the couple and learn all about them! So where to begin with Sam and Alex haha! I met Sam at the Todays Bride show in Cleveland back in January. I knew immediately we would hit it off and sure enough she booked us a few weeks later! Of course the next step was to get her engagement session scheduled. Like most brides sam knew the vibe and feel she wanted and being a Cleveland native The Flats were a no brainer! The Flats provide the perfect blend of gritty urban and romantic water side vibes. Any good Cleveland Photographer know the beauty of this location. From the stunning water ways to the towering bridges there is no shortage of incredible backdrops.
The Weather
We initially settled on an early May date, however due to good ole Ohio weather we would end up rescheduling multiple times, a perfect example of why I hold dates for weather just in case! But I must say thank God for the reschedules because we ended up getting the most beautiful evening. The sun was a perfect soft glow and we have an incredible breeze off of Lake Erie!
The Couple
I mentioned I met Sam at the Cleveland Bridal show in March. She walked up to our booth with the utmost confidence and upbeat personality. She had her whole crew with her including both her and Alex’s mom. That upbeat personality continued through out her session and her love for Alex was on full display! Alex is just the coolest! He is up for anything and is enjoying the road to the wedding just as much as Sam! These two are just incredible and we are honored to be the team that is capturing their day!
The Big Day!
You cant talk about the engagement session without talking about the wedding! Sam and Alex will tie the Knot next year on May 30th at the beautiful Sun Valley in Chagrin Falls, OH. I can already tell their day will be full of love and laughter! As wedding photographers we love
