One of the most common questions we get from couples is “How many wedding photos should I expect?”
We get it, your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime day filled with big moments, emotional hugs, happy tears, and way too many dance floor moves to count. You want to relive every second of it through your photos, and we’re here for that.
So here’s our honest answer.
For a full-day wedding, couples typically receive between 800 and 1200 edited images from us. That’s a ballpark based on our years of experience, but the real number can vary depending on your timeline, guest count, wedding party size, and how many events you pack into your day.
We usually say a safe rule of thumb is about 100 images per hour we’re shooting. So, if we’re there for 8 hours? Expect around 800. If you book us for more time (like for getting ready, a sparkler exit, or extra portrait time), that number naturally grows.
We don’t believe in holding back great memories. If it’s a good photo—whether it’s an emotional reaction, a stolen glance, or your aunt busting a move on the dance floor—we’re going to deliver it.
We won’t cut you off at 1200 photos if we have more incredible moments to share. We edit and deliver every photo that meets our quality standards—so you get all the best without any filler or duplicates.
Some weddings are fast-paced and packed with back-to-back events. Others are more laid-back with long stretches of mingling, toasts, and cocktails. Some couples want multiple photo locations, while others prefer to stay in one place.
Because of that, the total number of final images will always depend on how your day flows. But rest assured, we’re always shooting with purpose—and we’ll make sure your gallery tells the full story of your day, start to finish.
Your wedding gallery should feel like a true reflection of your day—not just a folder of photos, but a collection of memories. Our goal is to give you the best of the best without overwhelming you with duplicates or unnecessary extras. (Example of a full gallery)
So yes, you’ll get plenty of photos—but more importantly, you’ll get the ones that matter most.
